Shooting Leaves Man With Life-Threatening Injuries in Loring Park

 

A man was critically wounded after being shot near Loring Park in Minneapolis on Monday afternoon.

According to Minneapolis police, the victim had been sitting in a car on the 300 block of Clifton Avenue around 4 p.m. when another car pulled up alongside.

People in both cars began arguing, and during that confrontation shots were fired.

The victim was struck by gunfire and brought to Hennepin Healthcare with apparent life-threatening injuries. Authorities said the other driver left the scene before officers arrived.

As of publication, no arrests have been made in the case. Police have not released any additional information about the people involved and the investigation remains active.
