House Fire Kills Adult, 3 Children in White Bear Lake

An adult and three children are dead after an early morning house fire in White Bear Lake on Saturday.
Crews responded to a report of a structure fire at a single-family home on the 2100 block of Richard Avenue at 5:26 a.m.
Neighbors who called 911 reported seeing fire coming through the roof and said there were likely people inside.

Crews arrived to find the home fully engulfed and immediately began fire suppression efforts. Once inside, firefighters found an adult, three children and a dog. All were deceased.
The identities of the victims have not been released as of publication.

The Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office will lead the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire.
Responding agencies included fire departments from White Bear Lake, Vadnais Heights, Mahtomedi, Maplewood, Oakdale, North Saint Paul, Little Canada FD, Lakeview EMS and the White Bear Lake Police Department.
The White Bear Lake Fire Department said additional details will be released as they become available.
