4 People Wounded in Overnight Shootings Across Minneapolis
Minneapolis police say four people were shot in separate incidents between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The shootings occurred within a span of just over four hours across different parts of the city.

The first shooting was reported at 9:18 p.m. Saturday at 3rd Street North and 2nd Avenue North. Police said a man inside a car got into an altercation with another person that escalated to gunfire. The man ran from the vehicle and was later found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.
Just after 10 p.m., officers responded to 19th Street East and Nicollet Avenue after multiple 911 calls about gunfire. Police found a man who had been shot while walking with a group. Witnesses told police the shots were fired by someone who had walked past. The man’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital.

At 12:01 a.m. Sunday, police were called to a home in the 1700 block of 31st Street East where a woman was shot inside. Investigators believe the gunfire may have come from someone in a moving vehicle. The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The fourth shooting was reported at 1:32 a.m. near Lake Street East and Bloomington Avenue. Police said a man was outside when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot. He was found with at least one non-life-threatening wound and transported for treatment.
Police said there is no known connection between the four shootings. No arrests have been made and all of the cases remain under investigation.
