Becker Crash Kills 10-year-old Riding Bicycle

A 10-year-old boy died Monday morning after he was struck by a driver while riding his bike in Becker, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded just before 8 a.m. to the intersection of Brenda Boulevard and Edgewood Street, where the child was struck.

First responders arrived and began life-saving measures but authorities have since confirmed that the boy died at the scene. The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, officials said.

No additional details about the victim nor the driver have been released and the incident remains under investigation by the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office.
