A Virginia woman admitted in court that she had more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in her apartment, and both sides expect her to be sent to prison, St. Louis County prosecutors said.
Angela Lynn Cerney, 42, pleaded guilty on Oct. 5 to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office said in an announcement the next day. Judge Robert Friday took the plea.
Cerney told the court the drug was in her apartment in Virginia, according to the county attorney’s office.

Under an agreement between the two sides, the prosecution and the defense expect the judge to order a prison term that falls within the range set by the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines, the office said.
Sentencing is set for Oct. 15. Cerney will be kept in jail until that hearing, according to the county attorney’s office.
Assistant County Attorney Chris Florey handled the case for the state. County Attorney Kim Maki announced the plea.
