A 69-year-old man was found shot to death inside a home on the north side of Minneapolis on Wednesday night, police say.
Fourth Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting around 8:48 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29 in the 4800 block of Bryant Avenue North.
They found the man inside the residence and with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a police department spokesperson said.
Officers secured the scene and canvassed the area, with forensic investigators responding to process the scene and collect evidence.

Homicide investigators are working to determine the sequence of events that led up to the shooting. Police said the incident does not appear to be random. The victim’s name has not been released.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been announced as of publication.
