Norbit Demetrius Jenkins, 61, is charged with kidnapping and five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct along with felony motor vehicle theft following the allegations.

According to the criminal complaints, 47-year-old William Terrell Cobbins and 28-year-old Brianna Larae Strong drove to the High Rise Apartment complex in Moorhead around 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 28 after Cobbins argued with the woman over the phone.

According to charging documents, officers were first called to the LivInn Hotel on Central Avenue on Sept. 30 after a text message to 911 reported someone in distress in one of the rooms.

The suspects allegedly carried out the armed kidnapping on Sept. 19 at a home in Grant, confronted the homeowner’s father outside with an AR-15-style rifle and a shotgun, restrained him with zip ties and brought him into the house.

According to criminal complaints, Isiah Angelo Garcia, 24, and his brother, Raymond Christian Garcia, 23, face multiple felony charges including kidnapping, aggravated robbery and first-degree burglary.
