Wrong-Way Crash in Bloomington Leaves Woman Dead

A wrong-way crash in Bloomington on Saturday night left one person dead and one injured, the State Patrol confirms.
Around 9:52 p.m., 29-year-old Jasmine Jayde Nanclares, of Shakopee, drove south in the northbound lanes on Highway 169 near Anderson Lakes Parkway and collided head-on with a Hyundai Sonata driven by 25-year-old Nasteho Rashid Dagane, of Shakopee.

The impact pushed Dagane’s car into a Ford F-150, driven by an 18-year-old man from Richfield.
Nanclares died at the scene. Troopers said her airbag deployed but they have not said whether she was wearing a seat belt.
It is not yet known whether alcohol was involved in the crash.

Dagane was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the F-150 and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Brooklyn Center, were not hurt.
Allina Ambulance, Eden Prairie PD and Bloomington PD responded, with the State Patrol continuing to investigate the incident.
