Police Say St. Cloud Woman Stabbed, Suspect Remains At-Large

Police are searching for a suspect after a stabbing left a woman in critical condition in Saint Cloud on Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 400 block of 19th ½ Avenue North around 9:40 a.m. and found the victim with severe injuries.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition as of publication.

The suspect has been identified as 42-year-old George Washington Harris of Saint Cloud. Police say he has not yet been located. Harris is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 200 pounds, with lettering tattooed on his neck.

Authorities have not said what led to the stabbing, and investigators have not released further details about the circumstances. Police are asking anyone who sees Harris to call 911 immediately and not approach him.

The investigation is ongoing.
