A 51-year-old Minneapolis man is charged with killing two neighbors after an argument escalated inside their apartment building.
On Sept. 27, police were called to a high-rise apartment building on East Grant Street around 1:50 p.m. for a fight, which was updated to a shooting.
Two men were found dead from gunshot wounds to the neck inside the building.

The two men then came back down to the first floor. They briefly stepped out of the elevator before getting back in and riding again to the second floor.
When the elevator doors opened, Warren ambushed them from behind with the shotgun. One man tried to retreat into the elevator, but Warren fired, striking him in the neck. He then turned to the other man, who was unarmed and shot him in the neck. Both died at the scene.
