Man Dies After Early Morning Stabbing in St. Cloud Apartment

A man died early Monday after a stabbing inside a St. Cloud apartment, according to police.
Officers were called just after 4 a.m. to a residence on the 1200 block of Washington Memorial Drive and found an adult male with a stab wound.

Lifesaving efforts were performed but he died at the scene, the police department said.
Police said a 23-year-old woman who lives at the apartment was still on site when officers arrived. She was taken into custody without incident and is being held on charges related to the killing. No other people were found in the apartment.

According to initial info, the two were in a domestic relationship and police said there is no threat to the public. The identities of both the victim and the arrested woman have not been released as of publication while family notifications continue.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting St. Cloud police with processing the scene. The investigation remains active.
