The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed on Monday, April 28, 2025, that the remains were Boiteau.
Boiteau had been missing since the afternoon of June 22, 2016, when she reportedly fled on foot from a vehicle driven by her boyfriend along I-94 and County Road 74 in Saint Cloud. She was last seen wearing a tan tank top and black leggings, with her brown hair tied up. Law enforcement at the time said she had an active arrest warrant related to a probation violation and a history of drug use. Authorities did not believe she had connections in the Saint Cloud area and noted she didn’t have a phone when she disappeared.
