BY MN CRIME STAFF
Four men are now charged in connection with a violent robbery at a Wells Fargo bank ATM in Anoka County last year.
Investigators say the robbery left a technician injured and more than $100,000 stolen from the machine.
According to criminal complaints filed last week, the robbery happened on June 18, 2025, while an ATM technician was working on a machine at a Wells Fargo location in Columbia Heights.
The technician told police he was pushed from behind by several people wearing ski masks as they rushed the ATM, grabbed the cash inside and fled. He suffered an injury to his elbow during the robbery. Surveillance video from the area corroborated his account, and investigators say more than $100,000 was taken.

Authorities later located the suspected getaway vehicle abandoned in a nearby parking lot. Investigators learned the vehicle had been rented in Houston, Tex. Inside, officers found a gas station receipt from Oklahoma. Surveillance footage from that location showed four males wearing clothing and footwear consistent with the robbery suspects and traveling in the same vehicle tied to the crime.
DNA testing conducted on evidence collected from the vehicle identified Babyboy Richardson, 23, of Spring, Tex., as one of the suspects. Investigators say known photos of Richardson were compared with surveillance footage from Oklahoma and matched through tattoos and other identifiable features. Richardson is charged with one count of first-degree aggravated robbery and one count of aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery.

Coreon Dwoyne Hudson, 19, of Houston, is charged with the same two counts. Investigators say Hudson was identified through DNA evidence recovered from the vehicle and social media posts that appeared to show items connected to the robbery. Authorities say the images matched what was seen in surveillance footage from both the bank and the gas station.
Kameron Deshon Washington, 21, is also charged with first-degree aggravated robbery and aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery. Investigators say Washington was identified through social media posts that allegedly included evidence from the robbery and matched surveillance images of one of the masked suspects.
Stephon Jacobs, 22, is the fourth person charged in the case. Investigators say Jacobs was identified through social media posts that appeared to show evidence from the robbery and matched surveillance footage of one of the suspects seen fleeing the scene. Jacobs faces one count of first-degree aggravated robbery and one count of aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery.
Each defendant faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted and nationwide warrants were issued for all four men as of publication.
