Despite lifesaving efforts by Champlin police, Anoka-Champlin firefighters and Allina Medical Services, the man—who was the only person in the vehicle—was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Minnesota State Patrol is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. They say the driver, Adonis Raven Turner, was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. The State Patrol says the road conditions were wet, and it’s currently unknown if alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
