A Champlin man was arrested Monday night at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport after a reported domestic assault and gunshot fired in the city of Spicer that occurred early Sunday morning.

According to a media release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, Feb. 27 at about 4 a.m., they received a report of an assault with a firearm in the area of 100 Lake Ave. N. in Spicer, northeast of Willmar.
