The pedestrian, identified as Adam Zakaria Amin, of Moorhead, died at the scene.
The truck was driven by 64-year-old Victor Carl Port, of West Fargo, who was not injured. He was wearing a seat belt and his airbags did not deploy. Officials confirmed that Port was operating the vehicle on behalf of the City of Moorhead’s public works department.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges or citations had been announced as of Friday.
