3 Teens Arrested After Eagan Carjacking, Robbery

A man was maced and threatened to be shot before his vehicle was stolen during a robbery in Eagan, leading to the arrest of three teenagers.
Police were called at about 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, to the 800 block of Wescott Road after the victim reported a young male and two females assaulted him, threatened to shoot him and took his vehicle before leaving the area.

Officers later located the vehicle abandoned near Trails End and Eagan Oaks Road. While searching nearby, officers found two juvenile females walking in the area, and police said one of them was carrying pepper spray.
Investigators later located the male suspect with his mother.
Authorities said all three suspects, ages 13 and 14, were taken into custody and booked into the Dakota County Juvenile Detention Center on allegations of felony theft, second-degree robbery and carjacking.
Police have not released additional details about the incident.
