Three men are charged in connection with a Duluth home burglary and an armed robbery of the home’s resident, who was robbed at gunpoint as he gave them a ride, according to the complaints.
Trequwan Nashon Scott, who was 24 at the time of the alleged offenses, and Desmon Lenard Tillman, who was 20, each face charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree aggravated robbery. Trevon Jermaine Eaton, who was 25, faces a charge of first-degree aggravated robbery. The complaints were filed October 23 in Saint Louis County District Court.
According to the complaints, home surveillance footage showed two masked men enter a Duluth house through a window at 11:54 a.m. on October 14. One opened the back door for the second, and the two left about six minutes later. They took a Sig Sauer rifle, a Glock 23 handgun, designer shoes, a PlayStation 5, clothing and a diamond necklace from bedrooms.

The victim told investigators he left for work at about 11:30 a.m. and, after a meeting that ended at 12:30 p.m., met three men, two of whom he knew, who asked him for a ride. As he drove, the complaints say, they robbed him at gunpoint. Tillman held a gun to his head, and the victim believed one of the men in the back also had a gun.
After a physical struggle, the victim drove to an alley in the 1800 block of First Street. The men pulled the keys from his car to disable it, took a Glock handgun he kept under his seat and ran off, the complaints say. When he got home, he found his house had been burglarized, and he identified Tillman and Scott as the two men on the home surveillance video.
Investigators served a search warrant at the home where Tillman and Scott were living and found the stolen Jordan 4 shoes. Video from a nearby business showed three suspects running through an alley at 12:54 p.m. after the robbery. Investigators identified two of them as Tillman and Scott, and said the third matched the physical description of Eaton.
In calls from the jail, the complaint says, Scott told Eaton that Eaton could not be caught with any of the stolen items. In a Mirandized statement, Scott said he knew the victim and called his actions a “stupid decision.”
