A Saint Louis Park woman delivered fentanyl to a Lake Elmo group home, resulting in one man’s death and another’s overdose, according to charges.

Taylor Elizabeth Thompson, who was 28 at the time of the alleged offense, faces a charge of third-degree murder for selling fentanyl that led to a fatal overdose.

According to the complaint, Washington County deputies responded to a medical call at a residential treatment home in Lake Elmo at about 5 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Deputies and paramedics found two men in an upstairs bedroom who had apparently overdosed. One man was resuscitated and transported to the hospital, while the other was pronounced dead at the scene.
