2 Arrested in Bemidji in Connection to Jordan Shooting
Two men were arrested Thursday in Bemidji in connection with a shooting in Jordan that left one victim critically injured.
Jordan police officers responded to a report of gunfire at Lagoon Park around 6:20 p.m. Sunday, finding a man in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and police said the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived.

On Thursday, May 8, Bemidji police received information that the suspects were in the area. Officers began working with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to monitor several locations known to the suspects.

A search warrant was then executed at a home on the 1300 block of Bemidji Avenue, where a 20-year-old man was arrested. A short time later, another warrant was served at a residence on the 800 block of 26th Street Northwest and a 19-year-old man was taken into custody.

Both suspects are being held in the Beltrami County Jail while the Scott County Attorney’s Office reviews charges.
The Jordan Police Department, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and the BCA continue to investigate the shooting. The victim’s identity has not yet been released and authorities haven’t released other details as of now.
