The van’s driver, identified as 38-year-old Kyle Adam Hoctor, of Eagan, told police he had just completed a delivery and was attempting a left turn followed by a U-turn when the crash occurred.

Minneapolis crews responded just after 5 p.m. Monday for reports of smoke in the apartment building on the 2500 block of Golden Valley Road.

Police responded to Nicollet Avenue near 66th Street just after 1 a.m. after getting reports of a person down in the roadway. Officers found the man there and determined he had been struck by a driver.

Prosecutors say the shooting was an act of gang retaliation and involved two gunmen who opened fire on a group gathered outside a business near East Franklin and Chicago Avenues on Aug. 20, 2023.

Firefighters responded to the 7400 block of North Street just before midnight and arrived to find heavy flames coming from the rear of the house. The fire escalated to a second alarm, prompting additional resources from Hopkins.

The attack happened on Feb. 15, 2025, on the 2500 block of Lyndale Avenue South, and was reportedly the result of a prior dispute between the suspect and the victims.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County, officers were dispatched for a child not breathing. Paramedics began life-saving treatment and the infant was immediately hospitalized.

According to a criminal complaint, authorities spoke with the woman’s daughter, who told officers she had not reported her mother’s death because she was “waiting on God to resurrect her.”

When firefighters arrived, heavy fire was seen from the back of the house. Crews applied water on the fire and searched the home, but the flames had already spread from the second floor up into the walls, the third floor, and the attic.

According to the complaint, officers responded to a report of gunfire on the 2200 block of 5th Avenue North at approximately 4:43 a.m. and found a male victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2009 Chevy Impala was traveling in the right lane when it spun out on ice and slid across all lanes of traffic. A semi-truck traveling in the left lane then collided with the driver's side of the Impala.

Officers responded to the scene near Glenwood Avenue and Twins Way after getting reports that a man in a wheelchair had been set on fire near Target Field.
