When they arrived, crews found heavy flames coming from the front of the two-story residence, with fire visible on both the first and second floors. Lines were laid to attack the blaze as crews began searching the home.
During that search, firefighters located an adult man on the first floor who had died. He was the only person found inside. Three other residents of the home were uninjured and assisted by the Red Cross. There were no additional injuries reported.
