Deputies Search for Suspect After Sexual Assault in Vadnais Heights
Ramsey County Deputies are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Vadnais Heights.
The assault happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday night near Centerville Road and Pondview Drive.

According to investigators, a woman was walking on the sidewalk when a man ran up from behind, forced her off the path and sexually assaulted her.
After the attack, the woman ran to a nearby home for help and was taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. The suspect fled north from the scene.

Deputies, K9 units and investigators searched the area, spoke with residents and nearby businesses, and collected evidence. The suspect remains at large as of publication.
He is described as a white man in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, with a muscular build and brown curly hair that is short on the sides. He had no facial hair and was wearing a black jacket, black pants and glasses, which the victim knocked off during the struggle.
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains active and that investigators are pursuing leads. Anyone with information about the suspect or with video from the area around the time of the assault is urged to call 651-266-7331.
