According to a criminal complaint filed in Ramsey County, 26-year-old Arlandis Shamar Walls is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily harm.

Police found a man in his 40s with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers gave medical aid until paramedics arrived, and the man was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Investigators say Talon Covie-Cardrell Walker was driving a Chevy Avalanche about 100 miles per hour when he sideswiped one vehicle and then slammed into the back of a Jeep Cherokee.

The case began on May 6 when Minneapolis police were called on a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. Officers found the victim unconscious in the street.

According to court records, 29-year-old Joshua Maurice Mitchell pleaded guilty in August to one count of criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily harm.

Blair pleaded guilty on Sept. 29 to felony criminal vehicular operation causing substantial bodily harm while under the influence of alcohol and to a misdemeanor count of carrying a pistol while under the influence.

Court records show that 23-year-old Joshua James Moton admitted Monday to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct for repeated assaults on the girl between April and May.

According to the criminal complaints, 47-year-old William Terrell Cobbins and 28-year-old Brianna Larae Strong drove to the High Rise Apartment complex in Moorhead around 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 28 after Cobbins argued with the woman over the phone.

Police were called on July 6 to an apartment building on the 2700 block of Lexington Avenue North, where the toddler was found unresponsive outside the garage with a severe head wound.

According to a criminal complaint filed Friday in Ramsey County, 33-year-old Stephan Andrew James is charged with first-degree assault causing great bodily harm and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

The investigation uncovered the suspect had moved into the St. Cloud home with Ernst in early May. Detectives later found extensive internet searches on his phone about thallium, its toxicity, and how to crystallize it into a compound.

According to the charges, 26-year-old Nebil Seid Birhan is accused of attacking his 58-year-old employer inside the BP station at 3110 Cleveland Avenue on Sept. 30.

Prosecutors announced this week that 48-year-old Jason Philip Filas was indicted on one count of first-degree premeditated murder, one count of first-degree murder while committing domestic abuse with a past pattern of domestic abuse.

The incident was reported around 11:34 a.m. when a resident on the 4600 block of Mohawk Drive contacted police after finding a container while cleaning out an old garage.

When officers arrived, they found the woman lying in a pool of blood with a stab wound near her spine. Medics provided aid at the scene before she was transported for treatment.

On Sept. 27, police were called to a high-rise apartment building on East Grant Street around 1:50 p.m. for a fight, which was updated to a shooting. Two men were later found dead from gunshot wounds.

Police were called just after 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 26 to Maryland Avenue, where they found the victim, 31-year-old Abdul Bakr Jafar, fatally injured in the roadway.

According to charging documents, officers were first called to the LivInn Hotel on Central Avenue on Sept. 30 after a text message to 911 reported someone in distress in one of the rooms.

Deputies said the man was driving a 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Fort Thunder Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2019 Toyota Tundra traveling on County Highway 125.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just before 7 a.m. near 175th Avenue Northwest and Roanoke Street Northwest.
