Police Ask Public for Help in Saint Paul Hit and Run Crash

Police in Saint Paul are asking for the public’s help after a woman was critically injured in a suspected hit-and-run crash Monday evening.
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, near the intersection of Rice Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, where officers located a woman lying in the roadway with severe injuries consistent with being struck by a driver.

Emergency responders provided aid at the scene before she was taken to a hospital, where authorities say she remains in critical condition.
Investigators believe the driver left the area after the crash. Police are searching for a suspected vehicle described as a blue 2005 to 2007 Honda Odyssey. Images of the vehicle have been released as officers work to identify the driver involved.

Officials have not released the injured woman’s identity and have not said what may have caused the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the driver or the vehicle involved is asked to contact Sergeant Moore at 651-266-5656. Authorities have not announced any arrests and the investigation remains active.
