According to the complaint, officers responded to a report of an assault involving a firearm. The victim reported that McIntosh threatened to shoot him while displaying a black Glock handgun. Officers located McIntosh walking away from the scene and observed him hide behind a dumpster, appearing to discard items. After a foot chase, officers arrested him and recovered the Glock handgun from beneath the dumpster. They also found a black backpack that McIntosh had been wearing, which the victim had described.

The witness statements corroborated the victim’s account, with a security guard noting that he saw McIntosh hiding items in and around the dumpsters. The complaint indicates that McIntosh does not have a permit to carry a firearm in public and is prohibited from possessing one due to a previous conviction for simple robbery in 2018.

McIntosh is currently in custody. A court date has not yet been set.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of up to 7 years in prison for the assault with a dangerous weapon charge.
