According to court records, 42-year-old Jeremy Francis Plonski pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis to one count each of production and distribution of child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say Anthony John Crowley, 52, of Minnetonka, knowingly possessed material containing visual depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

While serving as a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations and a Task Force Officer with the FBI, the suspect was identified as the adult seen in graphic videos recovered from a minor’s phone.

Jeremy F. Plonski, of Shakopee, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving penetration of a child under 14 years old.

Jeremy Francis Plonski was arrested and remains in federal custody after a criminal complaint was filed in U.S. District Court. The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
