It happened just before 9 p.m. on Feb. 17, at Highway 210 and West Sylvan Drive Southwest in Sylvan Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 caller reported hearing gunfire near homes along Old Agency Drive and Onigum Road Northwest at 4:37 p.m.

Deputies were called to the area of 925 Grant Utley Avenue SW around 2:24 a.m. on Oct. 4 for a reported assault. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from several stab wounds.

Police say the incident began around 6:40 p.m. on Aug. 8, when a resident flagged down an officer to report a man wearing only boxer shorts and acting erratically.

Deputies learned that a 2023 Ford Bronco, traveling westbound, had lost control on the icy roadway while attempting to slow for a parked pickup in the westbound lane.
