A Saint Paul woman already charged in a similar felony case is accused of posing as military police in an attempt to contact the protected victim.
The incident happened on Jan. 23 at an apartment building in Edina, according to investigators.
Allie Jeanette Maag, 22, is charged with felony aggravated harassment by false impersonation after prosecutors say she posed both as a military police officer and a Hennepin County court official while violating an active order for protection and a domestic abuse no-contact order tied to a related felony case.
According to the criminal complaint, Edina police were dispatched around 10:28 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23 to an apartment building after a woman reported a violation of an order for protection. Dispatchers reported the caller was crying and that loud knocking could be heard during the call. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim and her roommate, who said Maag had just been at the apartment door, banging and announcing herself as “Military Police” while demanding entry.
