One man is dead and another is injured after a small plane crashed into a field south of Hutchinson on Monday afternoon. Around 1:00 p.m., the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for a plane that had crashed into a field in the area of 145th Street and Plum Avenue in Hassan Valley Township.

As part of a plea deal, one count of 2nd-degree assault and fleeing a police officer were dismissed.
