On November 27, 2025, Farmington Police Officers responded to a possible domestic dispute at a residence in Farmington, Dakota County, MN. An Apple Valley officer advised that he had been provided with a video of a female kicking another person at the residence. Officers were met by a male, B. S. H. (Victim), in the driveway of the residence. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had heard that his mother, Defendant JILLENE ANGELA HORTON [DOB REDACTED], was making concerning posts about her boyfriend on social media.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been drinking and on a “bender” for the last three days. Once at Defendant’s residence, Victim attempted to empty the alcoholic beverages into the sink and Defendant started to attack him. Victim said that Defendant punched and kicked him. When Victim backed into a corner, Defendant continued to kick him. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on his phone. While officers were there, Defendant also came out into the garage. In a Mirandized statement, Defendant said that Victim made first contact and punched her in the face because she was drinking.
Defendant described Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the right side of her face two times and “ripped her lip open.” Officers did not observe any redness, soreness, or swelling on Defendant’s face and her lip was not ripped open. When asked if she kicked or hit Victim, [NAME REDACTED], “I’m not saying that.” Officers observed Defendant to be visibly intoxicated, with an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her person, slurring her speech, and bloodshot watery eyes. Defendant is in custody. Defendant has three prior convictions for Qualified Domestic Violence Related Offenses from the last ten years: > Threats of Violence, entered on March 10, 2021, in Dakota County #19HA-CR-19-3028. > DANCO Violation, entered on March 10, 2021, in Dakota County #19HA-CR-19-3103. > 5th Degree Assault, entered on October 28, 2019, in Dakota County #19AV-CR-19-5615.
