On October 31, 2025, at approximately 12:29 A.M., a police officer was dispatched to a report of a disturbance in Hastings, Dakota County, Minnesota. The 911 caller was identified as LAVELLE JAJUAN GRAYSON [DOB REDACTED]. GRAYSON stated that his Uber driver was not bringing him to the jail. During the call, GRAYSON made various offensive and threatening comments. GRAYSON threatened to “whoop” the Uber driver. Upon arrival, the police officer located the Uber vehicle. The driver was outside the vehicle.
GRAYSON was still inside the vehicle. GRAYSON said, “I’ll kill this n***a bro… that ain’t no threat it’s a promise.” GRAYSON made various offensive and racial comments. GRAYSON again stated, “b***h I’ll beat yo a** [] and I’ll whoop you in front of the cops unless you give me my money.” Again, GRAYSON stated, “its not a threat, it’s a promise.” The police officer arrested GRAYSON and placed him in handcuffs. The driver stated that he got out of the vehicle for his safety and that he was afraid of what GRAYSON would do.
