On November 4, 2025, at 9:51 P.M., a Burnsville police officer was on routine patrol in a business parking lot in the City of Burnsville, Dakota County, State of Minnesota, when he observed a vehicle with expired registration. The vehicle began to leave, and the officer stopped the vehicle. The driver was identified as the defendant, Arryanna Angel-Nevaeh Aasen. The defendant admitted to the officer that her Minnesota driving privileges were revoked and she did have insurance coverage on the vehicle.
The officer observed a clear glass pipe with residue in the defendant’s purse. The officer asked the defendant to step out of the vehicle and, when she did so, he observed on the floor of the vehicle on the left side of the driver’s seat a clear container with pea-sized crumbles inside. Also, in a clear tube container located in the center console of the vehicle were two pea-sized crumbles. The contents of both containers were preliminarily tested, and the test indicated the presence of fentanyl in each container and the net weight of one was.72 grams and the other.35 grams, for a combined net weight of 1.07 grams.
The defendant told the officer that both items contained crack cocaine and both items were hers.
