On December 6, 2025, officers of the Burnsville Police Department responded to a report of an individual attempting to kick in a door at a residence located in the City of Burnsville, Dakota County, Minnesota. Officers arrived and observed Ryan Mitchell Zwolensky, born on [DOB REDACTED], actively attempting to kick in the door of the residence. Officers noted that Mr. Zwolesnky appeared to be intoxicated and noisy and was acting belligerent to the officers. Officers placed Mr. Zwolensky under arrest.
Officers then spoke with Victim 1 who reported that Mr. Zwolensky is known to them and that Mr. Zwolensky had made several statements to Victim 1 over phone in the past regarding Victim 1’s relationship with Victim 1’s partner. Victim 1 further stated that Mr. Zwolensky had never been at the property before. Victim 1 reported that Mr. Zwolensky had approached the house earlier in the day and was yelling profanities at Victim 1. Victim 1 refused to let Mr. Zwolensky in the house and told Mr. Zwolensky to leave or he would call the police.
Victim 1 reported that Mr. Zwolensky then started repeatedly kicking the door and attempting to open the locked handle. Officers searched Mr. Zwolensky's property and located a hammer in a backpack.
