On February 15, 2026, an officer with the Eagan Police Department was dispatched to follow up regarding a reported incident involving domestic assault, destruction of property and threats. The officer contacted A. I. W., an adult woman fully identified in police reports, hereinafter “Victim,” regarding the incident. Victim reported that the previous evening, her former partner, Tayjoun Anquwan Kibble [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter, “Defendant,” had come over to her apartment, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Eagan, which is located within Dakota County.
Victim [NAME REDACTED], including a child [NAME REDACTED] in common with Defendant, were present at her apartment. Victim [NAME REDACTED] one point she fell asleep on the couch and awoke to Defendant holding her phone in her face. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was angry about something he had found on her phone and that when she asked for her phone back Defendant refused to return it and instead used it to call someone, he believed she was romantically involved with and began making threats to that person.
Victim stated that Defendant proceeded to damage multiple pieces of her property by 1). Throwing her headphones at her television; 2). Striking her television with a black Glock handgun he had on his person; 3). Breaking her phone by hitting it with the barrel of the handgun; 4). Cutting up her mattress and bed sheets with a large kitchen knife; and 5). Smashed her glass table with a bar stool. Victim reported that Defendant then made multiple threats to Victim, [NAME REDACTED] was lucky that the children were present, otherwise he would “beat you until your body is lifeless.” Defendant also told Victim [NAME REDACTED] would be too quick and that he wanted to beat her to death instead.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] told her that the only reason she wasn’t injured was because their daughter was present. Victim reported that she believed Defendant would kill her based on his past behavior towards her, specifically stated that he has domestically abused her in the past, and that he has a history of domestic abuse with another woman. Victim further reported that Defendant left her apartment but told her that if he found out another man was at her residence he would come back and kill both her and that person, and that he would be sitting outside her residence every day watching. 3 19HA-CR-26-450 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 3/31/2026 The officer was able to view photographs of Victim’s destroyed cellphone as well as her torn sheets and mattress.
The officer also took photographs of Victim’s glass table, the top of which was smashed. The total value of these items is unknown at this time. Defendant was previously convicted of Emergency Telephone Calls/ Communications – Interrupt, Interfere, Impede, Disrupt 911 in Court File No. 19HA-CR-23-794 on April 9, 2025, as well as Domestic Assault – Misdemeanor – Intentionally Inflicts/ Attempts to Inflict Bodily Harm on Another in Court File No. 62-CR-22-631 on October 11, 2022. Due to persistent concerns for Victim’s safety, the State respectfully requests a warrant be issued for Defendant’s arrest.
