On March 1, 2026, an officer with the Inver Grove Heights Police Department was dispatched to a report of a woman who would not leave someone’s property located in Dakota County. The officer arrived on scene and spoke to the reporting party, who stated that a female with blonde hair and a cream-colored outfit had come to the residence to see their son, but she was not wanted there. The officer advised the reporting party about the process of obtaining a harassment restraining order. As the officer was leaving, he noted a vehicle parked in the lot with loud music and parked in a handicap spot.
The officer approached the vehicle and observed a female matching the description provided by the reporting party. The female, later identified to be Jamie Marie Uecker [DOB REDACTED], “Defendant” herein, was standing next to the driver’s side of the vehicle. The officer observed Defendant smoking marijuana and advised her that she could not be smoking it there and could not be parked in the handicap spot. Defendant then entered the vehicle with the lit marijuana joint and the officer advised her she needed to roll down her window.
Defendant then put the car in reverse and began to flee. The officer returned to his patrol vehicle and pursued Defendant with lights and sirens, but Defendant accelerated to high speeds. The officer discontinued the pursuit and State Patrol was advised on Defendant’s last known direction and the vehicle description and plates. Defendant was later stopped and placed under arrest in Chaska before being transported back to the Dakota County jail.
