On November 26, 2025, at 4:26 am, a bright blue mini van pulled into Superior Decks’ back lot and eventually stopped near a semi-trailer. Two suspects then took building materials from pallets under the semi-trailer and loaded them into the back of the van. These items were stacked and packaged, indicating that they were new products, as opposed to scrap. On December 4, 2025, at 2:16 am the black truck bearing MN license plate SYB801, used in the November 25th theft, again pulled into Superior Decks’ back lot.
At 2:30 am the truck could be seen at the back of a Superior Decks’ building with a male suspect walking next to it. 40 piece of aluminum tubing were taken for a total loss of $1,365. At 3:41 am on the same day, the same sedan as was used in the November 6th and November 23rd thefts pulled into Superior Decks’ back lot and pulled up next to two pallets. Two suspects proceeded to then take two hundred and eighty deck posts and place them in the vehicle for a total loss of $3,200. On December 5, 2025, Superior Decks posted “No Trespassing signs at the entrance to their lot as well as over the scrap dumpster in the back lot.
On December 11, 2025, the same dark sedan that was used in the November 6th, November 23rd, and December 4th thefts entered Superior Decks’ back lot. A male suspect then took several items of building material from the dumpster. At 3:30 am on the same day, a black truck, believed to be the truck bearing MN license plate SYB801, used in the November 25th and December 4th thefts, entered Superior Decks’ back lot. Two male suspects then took building materials from multiple locations, included off of 3 19HA-CR-26-353 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 3/12/2026 pallets.
The suspects took 37 pieces of deck corners, rails and metal poles from Superior Decks’ for a total loss of $1592.48.
