On December 9, 2025, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex located in Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota, on reports of a disturbance. Dispatched advised that a firearm was brandished during an altercation between two residents. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim who stated that he forgot to move his vehicle out of the carwash area in the parking garage. When the victim returned to move his vehicle, he observed that another vehicle was blocking him in. The driver of the other vehicle refused to move and stated a tow truck was on its way to tow the victim’s vehicle as he was illegally parked.
The driver of the other vehicle was identified as Kenneth Carl Davis [DOB REDACTED] (hereinafter Defendant). A verbal argument ensued between the Defendant and the victim when the Defendant refused to move his vehicle. At one point, the Defendant reached into the back seat, retrieved a black case, and removed a firearm. The victim stated that the Defendant then pointed the firearm at him. The victim [NAME REDACTED] on foot. The Defendant was arrested inside of his apartment. The Defendant admitted to brandishing a firearm during the altercation but denied pointing the gun directly at the victim.
Law enforcement located a firearm during a search of the Defendant’s vehicle.
