On March 23, 2026, at approximately 2:17 P.M., an officer with the Rosemount Police Department stopped a motor vehicle in Rosemount, Dakota County, Minnesota, for expired registration. The officer identified the driver of the motor vehicle as ISIDRO CAMACHO GALVEZ [DOB REDACTED]. GALVEZ was unable to provide insurance and was cited for violation of an instructional permit. The officer instructed GALVEZ to have a valid driver respond to the traffic stop to drive the motor vehicle and to make sure that the vehicle was insured.
At approximately 2:40 P.M., the same officer saw GALVEZ driving again. The officer stopped his motor vehicle near a business located at 160th Street, Rosemount, Dakota County, Minnesota. The officer approached the vehicle, confirmed GALVEZ was the driver, and took him into custody for driving violations. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an officer located a baggie on the driver’s side floorboard. A substance inside the baggie later field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, and weighed approximately 0.76 grams.
In a statement, GALVEZ admitted that the baggie belonged to him.
