On December 6, 2025, at approximately 11:07 P.M., officers with the Eagan Police Department responded to an abandoned hotel located on the 2700 block of Pilot Knob Road, Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota. An officer received notification that a truck was parked in the hotel’s parking lot. The officer spoke with a person who was on the property. The person advised that she was at the property with her boyfriend, but she left because they had gotten into an argument. After identifying the person, the officer inspected the hotel and noticed that front door to the hotel had been damaged.
The officer reapproached the person and informed her that she was trespassed from the property. Then, officers proceeded to look for the truck. Officers located the truck nearby. An officer then located a female, later identified as DARCEE RAE DIMMEN [DOB REDACTED], hiding in a tree. The officer detained DIMMEN. The officer identified DIMMEN and learned that she had several warrants. The officer arrested DIMMEN. During the arrest process, the officer asked DIMMEN if she had any drugs on her person.
DIMMEN replied in the negative but indicated that there were drugs in her purse located inside the truck. Officers searched a purse located inside the truck and located a baggie containing a substance. The substance later field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, and weighed approximately 2.94 grams.
