On December 11, 2025, at approximately 11:17 A.M., police officers responded to a report of a customer not paying for their food at a restaurant in Apple Valley, Dakota County, Minnesota. The customer was identified as SARAH KORTO PYNE [DOB REDACTED] who was also a suspect in a theft that occurred earlier that day at a nearby store. PYNE was placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, the police officer found multiple items that appeared to be stolen from the nearby store. The police officer then responded to the store and spoke with the store manager.
The manager confirmed that PYNE had been in the store at approximately 10:37 A.M. That day and had stolen several items. The aggregate value of the stolen items was $629.89. On October 2, 2025, PYNE had been present at the store. At the time, PYNE was trespassed from the store for a period of one year. PYNE was personally provided a copy of the trespass notice.
