On 01-05-2026, Brainerd Police Officer Judd spoke with NPK (fully identified in police reports) at the Brainerd Police Department regarding a domestic assault that had taken place on 01-01-2026 at NPK's address on South 8th Street, city of Brainerd, Crow Wing County. NPK reported that on that date he was at the residence with his girlfriend Alexandra Ann Krone, [DOB REDACTED] and their children. NPK and Krone share two children and Krone has a third child who is not NPK's child. NPK stated they have been in a relationship for approximately 10 years.
NPK explained to Judd that their relationship has been physical and mentally abusive for the majority of the relationship. NPK showed Judd scares where he had been stabbed by Krone with a key in the back and sliced by scissors on NPK's right hand. NPK advised Judd of an assault which happened on 01-01-2026, which involved Krone throwing a pan full of hot oil at NPK after an argument over breakfast food that morning. NPK stated Krone was upset that NPK was cooking her breakfast food and confronted NPK. Krone then grabbed the food and threw it around the kitchen.
Kaufman stated he flicked some of the food in Krone's face. Krone then grabbed the pan full of hot oil and threw it at NPK which caused a large burn mark on NPK's left arm which was now a dark red. Judd observed the burn on NPK's left arm which extended from the middle forearm to the lower bicep area. NPK sent Judd pictures of the healing process day by day which showed severe burns to NPK's arm. NPK stated he has been feeling helpless for the past 10 years and didn't know what to do. NPK also brought in his medical records after he went to the hospital for the burn.
NPK stated this incident woke up one of their children, CRK, who is 6 years old. CRK witnessed some of the event. CRK later told officers that witnessing the assault was "scary." Judd arrived at the listed address and spoke with Krone. Krone stated she got upset with NPK over him cooking the breakfast food. Krone stated she grabbed the food and threw it around the kitchen. Krone stated NPK got upset with her and she grabbed the frying pan in self-defense and threw the pan at him. Krone stated she did not know it had hot oil in it.
Krone stated NPK partly moved out after the incident. Krone stated she had not heard NPK scream in pain like that until after she had thrown the pan with hot oil at him. Krone was arrested and transported to the Crow Wing County Jail.
