On July 25, 2025, an officer from the Lakeville Police Department received a report of criminal sexual conduct that had occurred at a senior living facility located in the City of Lakeville, within Dakota County. The complainant reported that an employee of the senior living facility, Victim A (a juvenile female fully identified in the reports), was sexually assaulted by a co-worker at work on July 19 and July 20. The co- worker was identified as Gonzalo Saldivar Briones [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein.
On July 29, 2025, a detective forensically interviewed Victim A, and she disclosed the following facts. She worked with the defendant at the senior living facility in Lakeville. The defendant was a chef, and she was a culinary assistant. On July 19, 2025, they were alone in the kitchen and the defendant put his hand down the front of her pants and inserted his fingers inside her vagina. The defendant’s fingers went back and forth, and he rubbed Victim A’s genital area. The defendant also slapped Victim A’s butt over her clothing and grabbed Victim A’s arm and made her rub his penis over his clothing.
On July 20, 2025, she was preparing salads and the defendant put his hand down the front of her pants and inserted his fingers inside her vagina and rubbed her genital area. On July 31, 2025, an officer spoke with the defendant, and he reported the following facts. He was the senior chef at the senior living facility. Victim A was “special” because she did “crazy things.” He did not engage with or listen to Victim A. He denied that he touched Victim A in any way on July 19, 2025 or July 20, 2025. He also denied that he slapped Victim A’s butt.
Victim A is at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and the defendant is more than 36 months older than Victim A. A complaint warrant is requested given the severity of the offense.
