A Chevrolet Malibu traveling north on 211th Avenue entered the intersection and struck a Chevrolet Express van that was pulling a car hauler trailer loaded with another van.

Initial information indicates a 2005 Toyota Camry was traveling south on County Road 15 when it collided with a John Deere Gator side-by-side headed east on Le Sueur Creek Road.

A large blaze early Saturday morning on the 200 block of E. Main St. in Waterville left a local bar with extensive damage. Firefighters were called around 3 a.m. to the Funky Munky Saloon and Grill at 256 E. Main St.

Nathan William Quast and Emily Ann Wagner Two people were taken into custody on Tuesday by the Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force after an investigation into their involvement with controlled substances and stolen property. A press release from the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says Nathan William Quast, 37, and Emily Ann Wagner, 33, both of Waterville, were arrested during a traffic stop in Waterville.
