Investigators say the man was upset over state-mandated business closures and demanded money he claimed to have lost during the COVID shutdown.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 30 at the crossing on County Road 101 just south of 500th Street in Farden Township.

The crash happened around 12:10 p.m. Jan. 27 at the intersection of Highway 34 and County Road 11 in Henrietta Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Deputies were called just after 3:30 a.m. Oct. 4 to Piney Park in Straight River Township after neighbors reported a man and his young daughter screaming for help.

Deputies were called around 2:23 a.m. on July 19 for a report of a possible drowning at the lake’s public swimming beach. While emergency crews were responding, dispatchers were told that bystanders were performing CPR.

The female suspect stopped, got out and asked the victim not to call police, saying she didn’t have a valid driver's license or insurance. She then handed him a name and address on a piece of paper before driving away.
