On December 6, 2025, Officer Compton of the Rochester Police Department was stationed at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, as a hospital resource officer. At approximately 1:48 A.M., Officer Compton was asked to speak with a patient (a minor [NAME REDACTED] in police reports), hereinafter Victim, [NAME REDACTED]. Officer Compton met with Victim [NAME REDACTED] was wearing a C-collar on her neck and her mouth was bloody and swollen. Victim told Officer Compton that she was in a red Honda SUV earlier that night with multiple individuals that she met while talking in online group chats.
Victim said Witness 1 (a minor [NAME REDACTED] in police reports) was driving and someone named Michael was in the passenger seat. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the rear passenger seat; Witness 2 (a minor [NAME REDACTED] in police reports) was sitting in the middle passenger seat; and Witness 2's boyfriend, Noah Leonard, was sitting in the left rear seat behind the driver. Victim told Officer Compton that she went to a park with the group of individuals and later stopped at a drive through located at 1505 2nd St. SW in Rochester, Minnesota.
While the vehicle was stopped, Victim said Witness 2 and Leonard became aggressive and threatened her. Victim said Witness 2 started to hit her and Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim told Officer Compton that Leonard then grabbed her by the hair, pulled her out of the vehicle, and started punching her in the face. Victim reported being punched approximately 10 times. At one point during the assault, Victim [NAME REDACTED] from within the restaurant yelled through the intercom, "Stop hitting the girl!" Victim said Leonard stopped shortly after and left.
Victim told Officer Compton that she could barely move and when she finally got back into the car, Witness 2 and Leonard were gone. Victim [NAME REDACTED] went to Leonard's house and that she asked Witness 1 to drive her to the hospital. While speaking with Victim, [NAME REDACTED] had blood on her mouth between her mouth and nose. Officer Compton asked Victim to hold her upper lip open and could see that one of her front teeth was chipped and the adjacent tooth appeared to be loose in the gum. Officer Compton also observed lacerations to the inside of the upper and lower lips.
Officer Compton spoke with a doctor who specified that Victim's top front teeth were extruded and luxated toward the inside which indicated soft tissue injuries to the upper lip and jaw and displacement of the teeth. On December 6, 2025, Officer Brookyn Horton of the Rochester Police Department was sent to follow up with Leonard at his home. Officer Horton met with Leonard who provided a statement. Leonard said Witness 2 and Victim got into an argument while the vehicle was driving and that he asked the driver to pull into the drive through where the incident occurred.
