On January 19, 2026, at approximately 6:30 P.M., officers responded to TJ Maxx in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota for a report of a retail theft in progress. Lost prevention observed Colione Valentino Brown, hereafter defendant, take multiple items of clothing and conceal them in his pants and exit the store past the last point of purchase without paying for the items. Defendant was stopped and searched outside the store and found to have the items of clothing on his person. The value of the clothing was approximately $65.00. Subsequent investigation showed that there were multiple wires cut and recovered from the area where the defendant took the clothing from.

The wires are parts of sensors used in efforts to prevent theft. Defendant had a pair of wire cutters on his person at the time of his arrest. Defendant is currently in custody.
