On December 20, 2025, Hennepin County Sheriff Deputies responded to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, on a report of an assault. Deputies learned that HCMC security officers had approached Sarah Ann Masurka, herein DEFENDANT, and explained to DEFENDANT she needed to leave the property after being discharged from the hospital. When security officers began escorting her away, DEFENDNAT grabbed V. A.’s, herein Victim, vest and began pulling it. DEFENDANT then tried to strike Victim in the face with closed fists several times.
Victim had multiple marks and a cut on his arm due to restraining DEFENDANT while simultaneously being assaulted by her. DEFENDANT was placed under arrested and is currently being held for assault. DEFENDANT has the following qualified domestic-related convictions within the last 3 years: 31-CR-22-26 – Felony Fourth Degree Assault (convicted on April 8, 2024) ••-CR-••-•••• – GMD DANCO Violation (convicted on April 8, 2024) ••-CR-••-•••• – Felony Fourth Degree Assault (convicted on April 8, 2024) ••-CR-••-•••• – Felony Fourth Degree Assault (convicted on October 14, 2024) DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
