On November 22, 2025, around 9:33 pm., law enforcement was dispatched to the Menards located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NE, Blaine, Anoka County, on a report of a theft. Upon arrival, law enforcement was notified that the suspect vehicle was parked in the north part of the parking lot and that the suspect was walking toward McDonalds. The female suspect was apprehended and later identified as Kathleen Mattraca Beaupre [DOB REDACTED], defendant herein. Loss prevention at Menards stated that they witnessed defendant walk to the side of the building, take a cart, and load it with items from the store.
They informed that she was then seen with no items in her cart but a large tote in their place. Defendant proceeds to pass all points of sale and is stopped by staff. Staff asks to see the receipt for her items, and she continues to walk out of the store without producing the receipt. Defendant proceeded to place the tote in the back seat of the suspect vehicle. Law enforcement investigated the tote from the vehicle and found unpaid merchandise from the store inside the tote that totaled over $1,259.59. Defendant was thereafter given a trespass notice from the store and arrested.
