On June 17, 2025, a pretrial Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was issued in Ramsey County District Court file ••-CR-••-••••. The DANCO prohibits TIMOTHY JAMES MCKEE [DOB REDACTED] from having contact with CHH [DOB REDACTED]. CHH and McKee lived together. The DANCO also prohibits McKee from going to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County except with a police escort for the purpose of recovering prescription medications, personal clothing, and toiletries. The DANCO remains valid and in effect. At around 6:20 AM on December 20, 2025, officers were sent to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on an assault.
Officers spoke to HJ who is in a relationship with CHH and is McKee’s mother. HJ said CHH was upset with the poor state of the residence and loudly did dishes before the altercation. HJ’s other son, CM, argued with CHH because CHH was being loud. McKee injected himself into the disagreement. HJ tried to separate everyone. At one point McKee tried to hit CHH over HJ as she stood between the two men. McKee inadvertently hit HG’s head. The altercation continued and HJ told CHH to call police. McGee grabbed a knife and swung it at CHH. CHH said he was doing dishes in the kitchen which upset CM. CHH and CM got into a verbal argument.
McKee came out of his room and got involved in the argument. McKee hit CHH’s face three times without provocation. CHH’s lip bled from the assault. CHH physically engaged with McKee in self-defense. McKee grabbed a green-handled steak knife, lunged at CHH with it, and said, “I’m going to kill you. I’m going to stab you.” CHH used a door as a barrier. HJ calmed the situation down, and CCH retreated to his room and called 911. McKee declined a custodial statement. McKee is currently charged with threatening to kill CHH in Ramsey County District Court file 62-CR-21- 2634. McKee has been found incompetent to stand trial on that case.
McKee’s commitment referral was declined in that case.
